Bear Lake Memorial Hospital is seeking a hard-working, dependable individual that can provide assistance to the residents, CNA’s and Nursing Staff of the Skilled Nursing Facility.  This individual must be flexible – working anywhere from 1-3 days a week as needed on an occasional basis.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and making resident beds
• Emptying trash cans
• Dusting bedside tables and nightstands (assuring resident’s personal space is clean and tidy.)
• Serving resident food trays and beverages
• Clearing trays and cleaning kitchen area after meals
• Removing food carts to the Dietary Department after meals
• Filling water mugs and stocking personal care items for residents
• Being aware of standard precautions and avoidance of contamination
• Caring for equipment and supplies within your responsibilities
• Other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• There will be a moderate amount of bending, twisting, and walking with this position
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Observe instructions of charge nurse and carry out duties and responsibilities in conformance with established routines and guidelines
• Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality requirements.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Must have good people skills and be able to get along with others.
