Bear Lake Memorial Healthcare is seeking a hard-working, dependable individual that can provide compassionate and caring service to their patients as a Ward Clerk.  This individual must be flexible – working various times/shifts as needed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Efficiently organizing and compiling Medical Charts in accordance with Hospital policies
• Photocopying
• Clerical Duties as needed
• Answering telephones and taking messages
• Faxing
• Processing admissions, transfers and discharges of patients
• Following inpatient guidelines with regard to making appointments, discharges, etc.
• Take and record temperatures, pulses, vitals, etc.
• Other CNA duties as required

Requirements:

• Must be able to prioritize duties and work under pressure.
• Good organizational skills.
• An ability to liaise with personnel at all levels.
• Maintain a calm and professional manner when dealing with patients and hospital staff.
• Adherence to confidentiality/HIPAA requirements.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Must have good people skills and be able to get along well with others.
• Be flexible and willing to, where possible, cover sick leave at short notice.
• Be willing to work additional hours in exceptional circumstances to maintain the service.
• Give compassionate care for patients/residents
• Must have the ability to contribute to the culture and/or mission of the most caring hospital
