Description
Essential Duties:
- Assist with patient care by recording vital signs, discussing and documenting health concerns, performing tests, and administering injections.
- Place phone calls to pharmacies for prescription orders and set up referral contacts.
- Obtain prior authorizations for procedures, testing, or any other items required by insurance payors.
- Prepare and manage patient charts, answer phones, and perform general office duties as needed.
- Maintain a neat work area and stock patient rooms with necessary supplies.
- Provide care to patients of all ages.
- Rotate weekends in the Instacare clinic and assist as needed in other BLMH clinics.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Proficiency in medical terminology.
- Strong interpersonal and human relations skills.
- Ability to maintain schedules and confidentiality.
- Skills in filing and retrieving information.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Capability to respond to questions and requests tactfully and professionally.
Requirements:
- Current LPN license, CNA or CMA certification in the State of Idaho, or ability to obtain in a reasonable timeframe after hire.
- Be part of the weekend rotation in Instacare and be willing to cover in any other BLMH clinic.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, to be maintained through ongoing re-training.
- Ability to work cooperatively with patients, staff, physicians, consultants, and service providers.
- Commitment to compliance, maintaining privacy and confidentiality, and adhering to organizational policies and legal regulations.

- Kind and compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
- Physical ability to stand, lift, and carry materials or equipment.
